Invincible Interview

Over at The Lesson message boards on Okayplayer, I stumbled upon this interview with the female emcee named Invincible. When you think of the typical rapper, a white girl from Detroit does not immediately come to your mind, but man can this girl rhyme. As well as having skills on the mic, her active involvement in progressive social change has taken her music beyond entertainment, and towards actualizing the change she wishes to see. This is becomes clear when listening to her lyrics, and this is what hip hop is all about. Check out the interview as well as the music video for her track called "Sledgehammer," which demonstrates everything I've just said. Peace.
