Once and awhile I'll be letting everyone know about certain artists who I feel are not getting enough recognition. The first one I'll start with is Jay Electronica, an emcee from New Orleans who I can say, without any hesitation, is more talented than Lil Wayne. And Jay has not even released an official album yet! People who closely follow underground hip hop know about this guy, but only recently is he getting any mainstream play. This is because of his two singles "Exhibit A" and "Exhibit C,"which feature production from Just Blaze. This guy has some serious lyrics and drops knowledge on almost every track he puts out. Rather than just blab on and on about how good he is with the pen, I'll show you some of his lyrics along with a few of my favorite Jay Electronica tracks. But make sure that whenever you see one of his track's pop up on the net, listen! He is one of the best lyrical emcees coming from the south who is trying to teach us some important lessons.
